I had a wonderful stay at the Whaling Station Guesthouse. The beautiful surroundings with the impressive old trees created a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The pool area and deck were especially breathtaking, offering stunning views of the lagoon and coastline. And I can't forget to mention the friendly Australian sheepdogs who provided great company during my stay. The guesthouse truly offers a unique and enjoyable experience.

The location of this guesthouse is absolutely stunning. I felt like I was on a secluded stretch of beach, with the most spectacular views over the Indian Ocean. It was like being in my own little paradise, away from the crowded main beaches.

the breakfast spread was delightful, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. the location had an incredible view of lagoon and coastline. the pool area and deck were breathtaking with the most impressive, enormous old trees.
The room facilities were slightly outdated and could use some maintenance.

We enjoyed the fact that the hotel was located near the beach, which was convenient for our Easter getaway. The breakfast was also great, with a good variety of food options available. there were plenty of outdoor activities to participate in.
We were disappointed by the customer service and lack of hospitality provided by the staff. The rooms were also not well maintained, with outdated furniture and amenities.

We had a fantastic stay with great service from friendly staff, a beautiful setting with old trees, a wonderful pool area with a view of the lagoon and coastline, and amazing night skies. The rooms were clean, private, and comfortable with a good breakfast.

I got great value for my money at the Whaling Station Guesthouse. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient. The staff were incredibly pleasant and helpful, making my stay even better. The swimming pool and bar area were fantastic features, and I loved having coded access to the lagoon with free use of paddles and a canoe. The manager was hands-on and friendly, ensuring that everything ran smoothly.
The only thing that could have made the breakfast selection better was if there were more options available.

The location of the place was superb! We had a very relaxing and enjoyable Easter break. the view from the outdoor tables was amazing, and we loved the fact that we had easy access to the beach. the staff was friendly and welcoming. We really appreciated the free Wi-Fi and the daily breakfast was delicious.
The overall value for money. We expected more for the price we paid.
